Dear Brother Jaroslav, I’ve just heard with great shock the the railway station in Novi Sad collapsed and as a sesult of that 11 people died. As a vice-president of the Lutheran World Federation and also on behalf of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Hungary I express my deepest condolence. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. I’m sure you as a bishop of your church are in the midst of your people, helping them in all the needs, supporting the spiritually and maybe eve phisically. May God give peace to all who lost their family members, friends or colleges. May the Word of God strengthen you in these critical hours and days: „Comfort, comfort my people, says your God“ (Is 40:1)

Dragi brat u Hristu biskupe Jaroslave, Evangelička crkva augsburške vjeroizpovedi u Sloveniji i njeni vjernici ovom prilikom izražavamo svoju najdublju saosjećanje prilikom nesreće na novosadskoj žjelezničkoj stanici.
